Lori McKay – CUPE National & Rob Howatt – Local 830 will be stopping in to talk to Local 1770 about the current labour strike with Local 830 – Charlottetown Municipal Water workers. Depending on their arrival time some agenda items may be re-ordered to accommodate their schedule.

Please note that quorum must be held in order to conduct elections, this is a paid day by the employer, and we are obligated to report to the employer: those not in attendance and those that leave early so that pay can be adjusted accordingly. If we lose quorum we cannot proceed with elections and will be required to host additional special membership meetings outside of working hours to fill positions at an additional expense to the local, and member’s time.
